FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

[Alpharetta, GA, March 14, 2024] – NextEdge, a leading provider of networked infrastructure solutions, is proud to announce its inclusion in the esteemed NATE-OSHA-FCC partnership. While several of NextEdge’s operating entities were previously involved in the partnership, this marks the first time the entire organization joins forces in support of this crucial initiative.

The NATE-OSHA-FCC partnership, alongside NATE STAR safety standards, serves as a cornerstone of NextEdge’s commitment to prioritizing safety across all operations. Meeting and exceeding these rigorous safety standards is paramount to ensuring the well-being of our workforce and the communities we serve.

In a significant testament to NextEdge’s dedication to safety, the partnership’s leadership group has appointed Jeff Hamm, NextEdge’s Vice President of Environmental Health & Safety, to serve on the Steering Team for NATE-OSHA-FCC Partnership.

We’re honored that Jeff’s long experience in the safety world means that NextEdge will now have a voice in helping set safety standards for the industry. We know that Jeff will represent us well on the NATE Steering Team.

The NATE-OSHA-FCC Partnership, a collaborative effort between the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the Federal Communications Commission, and NATE: The Communications Infrastructure Contractors Association, aims to eliminate fatalities and reduce injuries and illnesses among workers in the communications tower erection industry. The partnership, renewed for five years, encompasses carriers, general contractors, engineering firms, and other stakeholders in the communications tower erection industry.

Through this partnership, NextEdge and its fellow collaborators intend to develop best practices to address the root causes of injuries and fatalities during the maintenance, repair, and construction of wireless communication and broadcast systems under normal and emergency situations.
